GA Kiteboarding Spark 2026
The Spark 2026 elevates all-round performance with a smooth, balanced flight character, improved depower, and enhanced upwind efficiency — making it the most intuitive and versatile Spark to date. Built for riders of all levels who want easy handling, excellent stability, and a wide performance range, the Spark continues to deliver the perfect blend of freeride comfort, control, and progression-ready power.
For 2026, the Spark features the brand-new ForceTec Dacron supplied by Challenge across the leading edge and struts. Reinforced with ripstop-style yarns, this upgraded material significantly reduces deformation under load, resulting in a cleaner, more stable canopy. The improved structural response translates directly into better control, a smoother ride, and more efficient overall performance.
Small but impactful refinements to the profile were introduced with one clear goal: improving upwind performance. The result is a faster, more efficient Spark that climbs upwind noticeably better while remaining extremely stable, especially when depowered. Riders will immediately feel the calmer canopy behavior — less movement, more control, and better handling in gusty or overpowered situations.
The leading-edge diameters were recalculated to achieve a thinner center section and a slightly increased diameter in the tips. This adjustment enhances overall balance and makes the Spark feel crisper and more precise in its turning response, while maintaining the smooth and predictable character the Spark series is known for.
A newly optimized bridle setup further improves load distribution across all bridle lines, enhancing depower efficiency and responsiveness. The Spark 2026 offers a noticeably wider wind range, cleaner power management, and better control when fully sheeted out.
Whether you're freeriding, jumping, learning new skills, or simply enjoying a smooth session in any conditions, the Spark 2026 delivers the perfect combination of stability and responsive power, making every session easier and more enjoyable.
Key Features:
FORCETEC DACRON MATERIAL Innovative ForceTec Dacron material supplied by Challenge results in maximized stiffness, lightness and durability of the Spark's leading edge and strut skeleton, leading to control, direct handling and longevity.
VOLTNOVA SPINNAKER The VoltNova triple ripstop spinnaker supplied by Teijin perfectly combines lightness, robustness and neutralizes stretch, which optimizes load distribution over a long period.
VOLTNOVA+ TRAILING EDGE VoltNova+ double ripstop supplied by Teijin is significantly stiffer, more durable and robust. This innovative material is perfectly suited to stabilize the Spark's trailing edge and enhance the kite's overall longevity and also lightness.
MORE SWEPT WINGTIP DESIGN The refined wingtip shape improves turning speed, smoothness and overall handling, giving riders better control across all disciplines.
FASTER TURNING & DIRECT RESPONSE An optimized leading-edge and tip design ensure quicker reaction to steering input, providing a responsive and lively feel.
EXCEPTIONAL WIND RANGE The improved depower extends the wind range of each size, allowing for comfortable riding in a variety of wind conditions.
FREERIDE ESSENCE – VERSATILITY & STABILITY Whether boosting, looping, foiling or carving waves, the Spark embodies the true essence of freeride kitesurfing — delivering fun, control and confidence in every session.
